Over the past four decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. The creator of some of the finest power-pop of the ’80s, a Grammy Award-winningsinger, songwriter, and musician who has sold 25 million albums and scored 17 U.S. Top 40hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I've DoneEverything for You,” “Love Somebody,” and “Human Touch.”

Best-remembered for a string of mid-'80s hits including the MTV staple "And We Danced," Philadelphia rockers the Hooters are led by singer/keyboardist Rob Hyman and singer/guitarist Eric Bazilian, whose longtime creative partnership also yielded hits for artists including Cyndi Lauper and Joan Osborne.

Tommy Tutone is an early-'80s power pop band led by vocalist Tommy Heath. The group's first single, 1980's "Angel Say No," scraped the bottom of the American Top 40, yet it was 1981's "867-5309/Jenny" that sent the group to the top of the charts. Peaking in early 1982, the single hit number four and went gold.
